Another great ensemble of kitchen projects: reversible apron, placemat with napkin, oven mitt, three-pocket hanger, dish towel, and scone mix bag with recipe for White Chocolate Chip Scones. All are quick to make, too, for your kitchen!
Materials Needed:
Reversible Apron - 1/2 yard for main fabric; 1/2 yard for waistband, ties, pocket and bottom trim; 1/2 yard for reverse side fabric; 1/6 yard for accent fabric on pocket; and 1 1/3 yard rick rack.
Placemat with napkin - 1/2 yard for main fabric; 1/2 yard for side panel and pocket; 1/2 yard for accent fabric and napkin; and 1 1/6 yards peltex.
Three-pocket hanger - 1/4 yard for pocket fabric; 1/2 yard for background fabric; 1/6 yard for accent trim fabric; 5/6 yard fleece interfacing; and 3/4 yard rick rack.
Dish Towel - one dish towel; 1/8 yard top trim fabric; 1/4 yard for bottom trim fabric; 3/4 yard rick rack.
Oven Mitt - 1/3 yard for main fabric; 1/3 yard for background fabric; 1/3 yard for bias trim fabric; 1/3 yard Insulbrite Thermal Fleece.
Scone Mix Bag - 1/4 yard pocket fabric; 1/3 yard for the main bag fabric; 1/6 yard for accent trim fabric; 1/3 yard fusible interfacing; card stock paper; scone mix ingredients (flour, baking soda powder, salt, sugar, shortening, white chocolate chips).
Special Tools - rotary cutting tools (grid mat, rotary cutter, and grid ruler), chalk marker, blue Clover Bias Tape Maker for oven mitt (optional), and stapler for Scone Mix bag.
