Recently I had the incredible opportunity of sharing an evening with some of the most talented and creative people I know! We talked, ate yummy cookies, made new friendships, toured our awesome store and warehouse, and of course made a cute little bow. While on the tour of The Ribbon Retreat one of these incredible ladies, Adrienne from Free Time Frolics, saw our awesome Diamond Mesh. She immediately was inspired and knew she had to create something wonderful with it! And, today she is sharing her inspiration with us and showing us how to create the cutest 4th of July Mesh Bows! Enjoy! But first, what inspires you?
I am lovin’ these mesh hair bows. They are unique, full of personality and perfect for the 4th of July! They would also be so perfect for a dance recital, volleyball match, everyday wear or even sitting proud on your little fella as a handsome bow tie! The possibilities are endless with this great diamond mesh material and the best part…it is CHEAP!!! For only $3.00 you can get a whole yard of this incredible stuff and it comes in 8 fabulous colors! And, as you can see by Adrienne’s fabulous bows, this mesh is easy to work with and the final product looks incredible!
Thank you for sharing these fun bows with us Adrienne! Make sure to visit Adrienne at Free Time Frolics for more fun and fabulous projects. You will find her cooking…yum, sewing and designing the most awesome patterns!
The 4th of July holiday is right around the corner, and I am having so much fun with all of these creative and fabulous patriotic projects! The richness of the red, white and blue colors and the bold stripes and shiny stars are getting me excited for fireworks, BBQs, parades and all things 4th of July! Here are some more red, white and blue projects to get you even more excited for all of your 4th of July festivities…
Earlier I asked what inspired you? I would love to hear all about your inspirations! I am inspired by my family, good books, beautiful music and FABRIC! Ok, your turn….

How do I go about stitching the mesh together?
Hi Jessica! Thank you for your question. Adrienne used a needle and thread to stitch her mesh together. Have a great day! Michelle 🙂
