4th of July Display with Fabric, Canvas and Ribbon

What item in your home do you love to decorate the most? I have a small black entry table that I love to decorate for upcoming holidays and special occasions. However, I dream of having a gorgeous mantel to one day deck out in gorgeous balls and tinsel for Christmas, bright and colorful eggs for Easter and fabulous red, white and blue stars and other patriotic crafts for the 4th of July. Melanie from Find it, Make it, Love it is sharing her lovely 4th of July decor that she proudly displays in her home featuring canvas, fabric and ribbon. Enjoy!

Let’s start with the 2 canvas displays. Wrap fabric around each canvas and use a staple gun or glue gun to attach it to the back. (This was an 8×10 size canvas.) I used my Silhouette to cut the USA shape on blue card stock paper.

For the star canvas, Trace, draw, or print off a star pattern then trace the star onto a piece of fabric.

Cut 2 stars using 2 different fabrics and sizes for a layered look.

(This is an 8×8 canvas.) I rubbed the edges to get some fraying. Use a simple glue stick to attach the shapes onto the fabric covered canvas.
