We spent it with a lot of our family and had a wonderful time.
Unfortunately, all the stress of making a present for literally everyone landed me with a horrible cold and the family got the stomach flu that’s going rampant around this time of year. I apologize I haven’t updated in awhile!
OK, to the announcement!
One of the gifts I made was for my parents, my husband’s parents, and my grandparents. In all we made six of them! And I say WE because my husband helped a lot with the mod podging. He wasn’t enthusiastic about it, but he did the majority of the work. I am lucky!
We mod podged this frame and added embellishments to it.
(Thanks Mom for taking the picture!) I totally forgot to take pictures before I gave them away.
So my little announcement is that I am expecting a baby boy in April! I’m about 23 weeks along and am excited to have two little boys. I am a little bummed I won’t be able to make all these cute girly things for the blog and get to keep them! But I think I will live.
On this frame I used ribbon from The Ribbon Retreat. I used White Solid Grosgrain Ribbon in 3/8″ for the little bow, and 1/8″ for the center. Behind the bow, I made a tiny spike out of Millenium Blue Double Faced Satin Ribbon in 5/8″.
So back in August, September, and October when I was complaining about not feeling well, now you know why.
The morning sickness gets me every time! Luckily, I was able to get over it for the holidays.
Coming up is the quilt pretty much finished! I just have to do the binding, but I’ll show a sneak peak of it quilted anyway.
Have a wonderful New Year celebration!

Congratulations! We have 4 boys and even though we keep cleaning supplies in every room and could own stock in Band-Aid, we wouldn’t trade it for anything.
