Make super easy and fun Alphabet Tile Magnets for your home or as gifts! These magnets are strong and so cute! Check out the tutorial!
Hello! It’s Brynde from The Ribbon Retreat again. I’ll be sharing my third tutorial
with you today.
I love refrigerator magnets! Especially ones that don’t slide down the fridge
with one little paper. Today I will be showing you some easy magnets with The
Ribbon Retreat’s Alphabet Tiles and coordinating supplies.

The majority of the items I used for this project can be purchased at The Ribbon
Retreat. For these magnets, you will need:
Start by punching out your scrapbook paper. Remember to hold the punch
upside down so you can see exactly will be cut out.
I like to sponge ink around the edges for more of a vintage look. To do this, you
lightly brush the tip of a sponge in your ink.
Then, with quick little strokes, run the inked sponge around your squares.
Next put your glue on the tile. It doesn’t matter which side. The picture shows a
dab of glue in the center. I recommend smearing it over the entire surface. This
prevents the image from curling up in the corners.
Press your paper onto the glue. Let the glue dry for about 10 minutes or so. This
way, the papers don’t slide when you attach the magnets.
You could also use The Ribbon Retreat’s Alphabet Tile Images for this project.

other coasters I made for my new table.
I can’t get over how cute these are! At this point you can seal with a thin coat of
Or you can add a ¾” square epoxy dot. It’s a great raised finish that’s very quick
and easy. Just be careful to not touch the sticky side when you are taking them
off the sheet. Your fingerprint will be visible in the finished product.
I chose to coat my tiles in a matte mod podge finish.
Put a dab of glue on your magnet and press to the back of the tile. Let the tiles
The Ribbon Retreat’s magnets are awesome. They have a pull force of 3 lbs and
are very strong! They will not be sliding down your fridge!
WARNING: When letting your glue dry, do not let the magnet tiles get to close to
each other. In a split second, you will have all the magnets glued together and
little tiles flying everywhere! I speak from experience… It was pretty hilarious, but
There you go! You have a set of adorable little magnets. These would make
There are so many possibilities. Like I said before, you can put the Alphabet Tile
Images on the tiles or you can have just the letters. The letters would be so fun
for little ones!
These are seriously going to be my go-to gift from now on! I just love how both
sets turned out!
I love easy crafts like this! And the possibilities are endless. Think about how cute Holiday ones would be for neighbor gifts or school pictures for grandparents, you can get creative! 🙂
