I have a confession to make…no laughing. Ok, laugh away! One of the spookiest things, for me, during this spoooooooktacular time of year is creepy, wing flapping, night dwelling BATS! EEEEEEKKKK! I am a little afraid of them…ok, maybe a lot! When I was growing up, I had the privilege of growing up on a cattle ranch where we were often times finding ourselves needing to go to the barn in the dark to unsaddle horses, put away tack, etc. But, the worst was when you had to do it in the dark. There were some little creepy bats who loved to fly out and try to dive bomb your head. Thus my fear of these black flying monsters. However, today Shirley is coming to my rescue and introducing us to the most friendly and most adorable bat I have ever seen! I can tell you, I am everything but scared of this sweet little bat and that adorable little bow on her cute head!
Not only am I in love with this little bat, but I can’t wait to make one for me, one for my little lady, and some for teachers, neighbors and friends. I am sure they are going to love them too! So let’s get started!

Seriously though, aren’t you in love with this little critter? I dare you to try to make only one. This fun little bat could also be made into a little fella by moving the bow from the head to his neck to make him look like he has a fancy bow tie on. How fun would that be?
