Canvas Ruffle Bag

Canvas Ruffle Bag - {The Ribbon Retreat Blog}

These ruffle bags are so cute and easy to make! In just one sitting you can make this fun bag that is perfect for taking to work, church, or just out on the town. I’ve made 3 bags and my daughter has claimed two! One for voice lessons and one for piano lessons! :) They make great gifts for just about anyone! All you need is some super cute fabric (we can help you out with that!), a canvas bag that you can purchase for around $2 at Wal-Mart, and a few hours!

We have so many beautiful fabrics at The Ribbon Retreat. They’re all organized by “line”, so finding fabrics that coordinate is easy!! For the bags shown, I used fabrics from the following lines:

This tutorial will open in a new window and may take up to 2 minutes to download, depending on your connection speed. I would recommend viewing the PDF at 100% or greater. :)

Have fun creating!!

    These are awesome. A mom just asked me last week to create her little girl some purses. She’s 3 so she is going to get a mini one. I don’t think I’ll ever buy a gift bag for another female! Thanks for sharing.
