Christmas time is so much fun for many, many reasons…but one of my favorite things to do during the holidays is craft away especially when there is a nice, gentle snow fall covering my lawn with beeeeautiful white snow! Cherie is also a huge fan of Christmas crafting and today she is sharing a very festive and adorable Christmas Present Bow that will help your little one ring in the season with sparkly gold ribbon and presents galore! Enjoy!
This Christmas Present center or clip is so easy to make! It is so cute on its own or the center of a big over the top bow. My favorite Christmas colors are silver and gold and I just love the gold and silver ribbon I used for these bows.
You can use any size of ribbon to make this present. I used 1 1/2″ ribbon for my presents. To make sure you get a square present fold your ribbon down to the corner, this makes a perfect square, but we need to double that.
To double it fold your triangle over and cut the ribbon.
Now glue the ends to the center of the ribbon.
Now that you have your present you can add a Christmas Package Bow to the top. I decided to make a Stacked Bow and use my present for the center. I made a No Tails Twisted Boutique Bow and a Spike Bow. I also used a Curly Ostrich Puff, which takes the bow over the top!
Here’s my bow all layered. You can sew it or glue it together. I have to say, it really gets me in the Christmas spirit!
For this present I criss-crossed 3/8″ ribbon and glued it it place.
For my next bow, I made another No Tails Twisted Boutique Bow, Spike Bow, Pinwheel Bow, and two Bow Tie Bows and a Christmas Present for the center.
I glued the Pinwheel Bow to the Twisted Boutique Bow and glued the Bow Tie Bows on the sides.
I layered the bow and put the Present Bow in the center.
Korker Bows make a super cute finishing touch.
I also made some pig-tail present bows. For these bows I added a Baby Bow to the corners.
This Bow would be so cute to make for a Birthday bow too!
I just love the Christmas season and these bows were fun to make. I loved working with all the fun Christmas Ribbon! I hope your holidays are filled with joy and maybe some GOLD SPARKLY RIBBON!!
Thank you Cherie for sharing this absolutely ADORABLE bow! I love big bows and this one tops the charts with that gorgeous gold glittery ribbon and the fun and festive Christmas inspired print ribbon! These festive bows make the perfect embellishment on a headband as well and look lovely on top of that sweet little head!
Do you love big bows too? Especially holiday inspired big stacked bows or hair accessories? Check out these other festive accessories that are big, bold and brilliant!

Well, you’ve certainly put me in the Christmas spirit, too, Cherie, with your super-festive bows!! As I’ve noted here before, I’m petrified of making bows that are more complicated than ones a 3-year-old could make without adult supervision, but I could see me whipping up a bunch of the present bows to use for clippies–or even as “real” present bows for small packages! xoxo
Pat…you are awesome! I love your comments! They always make me smile. You would do amazing at making these bows and I love your idea of adding them to a real package!! Have a wonderful day and thank you for being such a fabulous friend! Michelle 🙂
