Cre8 + 2 = Me and You Contest on Family Ever After

Rach from Family Ever After has an awesome contest going on right now on her blog.

“It is called Cre8 + 2 = Me and You. This is a contest designed to inspire you to spend time creating with a loved one (i.e. a child, parent, sibling, friend, neighbor). The point is to encourage you to spend time creating, teaching, learning, playing, and making memories while sharing your creativity! Your projects can be anything- sewing, crafting, painting, building, decorating, organizing, cooking, gardening, etc. They can be simple or complex. They can be made anytime- this summer, 5 years ago, 10 years ago- be sure to tell the story behind your project!”

This is how the judging will go – “I will choose 10 entries at random. Then the judges and I will rank those 10 in the order of our favorites, and all votes will be tallied. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. We are looking for entries that showcase creativity, tell a story, and show that you spent quality time together with a loved one.”

There are $500 worth of prizes, including a $40 gift certificate to The Ribbon Retreat! You don’t have to have a blog to enter, it can just be a picture from instagram, facebook, etc.

This is a great contest to inspire spending time with loved ones while still getting to be creative!

If you’d like to join in on the fun, link up on Cre8 + 2 = Me and You, or just visit all the fun ideas that have been linked up already. The contest closes on August 26th at midnight.

Have a great day! – Shirley 🙂

Oh that sounds like a lot of fun… I have just the project to share. Thankfully we can share one’s that were a bit older. I will head on over.
