Since I don’t have a little girl to do ribbon sculptures for, I framed them!
I love this little bunny and carrot combination. It’s so cute!
We carry these cute Bunny and Carrot Ribbon Sculpture Instructions so you can make them too.
I didn’t have the exact sizes of ribbon that the instructions called for, so that is why mine look a little different. I also had huge eyes compared to the instructions, but it’s still cute!
Of course, you can get all your ribbon from The Ribbon Retreat. These instructions call for ribbon in sizes of 3/8″, 1/4″, and 1/8″ for the little bow on the bunny.
I love the carrot on the instructions so much! But it called for 3/8″ ribbon and all I had in orange was 5/8″. I tried doing it a couple times and it didn’t work so well with the 5/8″ ribbon so I just did my own. Here is how I did it.
Get your orange ribbon and ready and seal the ends. This is the size that I had, but it would be preferable to not cut it until you’re done.
Hot glue the corners in towards the center.
Then glue the ribbon towards the back.
Then glue the ribbon towards the front.
Squeeze the bottom of the carrot and glue the ribbon around and around to form the carrot.
Make sure there is a hollow space for the leaves.
When you are satisfied with how your carrot looks, glue the end on the back, and cut if you haven’t done so yet. Seal the ends.
Get your korker leaves ready. Glue the bottom of the leaves into the carrot.
All done!
These sculptures are so much fun to do.
To make a clip, you just have to add the clip or you can put the sculptures in the center of a bow. You can get creative!
