Easy Elastic Shoelaces

Ok, moment of truth…how many pairs of shoes do you have? Don’t worry, I won’t tell a soul! I have a lot, like A LOT! I love shoes and cowboy boots and did I mention shoes? I also love purses and bags A LOT, but you already know that since I dedicated a whole series to nothing but bags. It was incredible! Anyway, because I love shoes so much, I have possibly passed that onto my little sweetie! Her cute little piggies look so adorable in her tiny shoes, and those tiny little feet inspired today’s fun and super easy project!

Are you familiar with Fold Over Elastic (FOE). You have most likely seen this elastic being used as a headband adorned with a bow or other accessory, or you may have noticed some holding back your favorite athlete’s hair. Today, I am going to introduce a whole new way of using this versatile and multi-purpose elastic; I am going to turn this elastic into adorable shoelaces that add a little personality to a pair of shoes!

Supplies:

Fold Over Elastic
*I used Double Ruffle Elastic in Neon Pink and Turquoise.
*I also used Fold Over Elastic in Neon Pink.

Let’s give those shoes a little personality with one simple step, lacing em’ up with your favorite FOE!

Cute and so easy right??? I couldn’t decide which color of elastic I like so I tried the turquoise, as seen above, and then the neon pink, as shown below. Just like above, I just laced the shoe up with the FOE.

My favorite is definitely the neon pink Double Ruffle. Gotta love ruffles!
