Did you grab any of the Easter Ribbon at The Ribbon Retreat?
This bow is made out of the Egg Hunt Seasonal Ribbon Mix.
I love the mixes, because they have the perfect amount of ribbon for a few bows and all the colors coordinate.
The next big holiday is the 4th of July and all the ribbon mixes are in stock
if you want to grab them!
The first layer on this bow is a basic boutique bow in 1 1/2″ ribbon. It is about 3 1/2″ wide.
The second layer is also the basic boutique bow using the Easter Eggs Easter Ribbon in 7/8″. This bow is about 3″ wide.
The last layer is the inside out bow technique and uses the Solid Grosgrain Ribbon 3/8″ in the mix. This bow is about 2″ wide.
I put all the layers together and finished off with a Solid Grosgrain 3/8″ knotted center.
I used the same ribbon to line my clip.
Now I have a fun bow for the Easter egg hunts this coming Saturday.
Happy hunting! 🙂

How lovely! I have the ribbon, but did not see this around Easter. I love your color combinations, highlighting the lavendar of the eggs! I will be sure to try this.
I love the design of your easter egg bow! But I can’t make it because I dont know how to make a basic boutique bow. I was wondering if you or anyone can tell me how to make it or if you can send me a link to the place where you can find it in ther Internet. Thank you! And I really appreciate it! I can’t wait to to make this bow!
Hi Berg! I learned how to make this bow technique (and all the others I post about) on our Tricks of the Trade Hair Bow Instructions. This is a fantastic tool for learning how to make bows and getting lots of different ideas. You can find it on our website here – http://www.theribbonretreat.com/Products/01-tott-hair-bow-instructions.aspx. 🙂
Thank you so much shirley! you are a big help 🙂
How do you get both ends outside of the bow?
