One of my most favorite things to decorate with is wreaths! I just love them. I love to pin them on Pinterest, I love to hang them on my front door, and I even have one hanging on my huge mirror in my home! I seriously have an infatuation with wreaths, and Melanie from Find it. Make it. Love it is sharing a fabulous Fall wreath that is most definitely being added to my “to do” list for Fall crafts! This wreath is gorgeous and perfect for welcoming those chilly mornings and crisp Fall nights to your door! Can you believe Fall is already here? This is my favorite time of year, and I can’t wait for all of the Fall crafts to start appearing! Enjoy this fun wreath!
Hey Ribbon Retreat fans! Are you as excited for Fall as we are?! As much as I love summer, I still think Fall is my favorite time of year. Pumpkins will be filling our homes and porches soon enough, but until the pumpkins are ready, we thought we’d get a start on some Fall decorating. What could be better than a gorgeous gold and white wreath to welcome the beautiful season?!

Here’s what you need:

Our wreath form is an old fan grate we found at a small gift shop. They can also be found at consignment/antique shops or maybe even a local thrift store. A wire wreath form from the craft store is great too.

First, cut the fabric into strips about 1 inch wide.

Next, cut the strips into lengths of about 6 inches. The amount of fabric needed and the number of strips will really vary depending on the size of your wreath form and how full you make it.

Once the strips are cut, just start tying them onto the wires of the wreath form.

We chose to alternate the gold and white. We really like the color block look.

Once the wreath is as full as you like, simply weave a piece of ribbon through it.

Hot glue the two ends of the ribbon.

That’s it! Ready to hang for Fall!

We love the look of the fraying fabric, and the consistent messiness of the knots! We also love how easy this wreath is to make! Fool proof! Are you ready to start pulling out Fall colors? We hope you’ll pop over to Find it, Make it, Love it for a visit! And have a fabulous September day!
Thank you so much Melanie for this fabulous wreath and for kicking off the Fall craft season for us! This wreath is so doable for everyone and a great scraper project. You can make this fun wreath in any color combination for any season or special event you are celebrating!
