I love an accessory that can be used in more than one way!
Today I’m going to show you how to make a headband that can double as a necklace!

Ruffle Elastic
Hot Glue
Isn’t that supply list awesome?! This Gem Necklace or Headband craft is so inexpensive to make!

Measure your head circumference and cut the ruffle elastic about an inch smaller than the measurement. Heat seal the ends and glue them together to form a loop.

I like to put the first gem right over the ends so it looks seamless.

Add some more gems the way you want them. I used three little gems and three big ones.

I really love the Double Ruffle Elastic for this project because it lays perfectly around the neck.

Cherie, your gem necklace is so pretty, but I think I like it better as a headband! Thank you for sharing your clever idea(s)… the ruffle elastic is perfect for summer! xoxo
