Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Valentine’s Day!!

I love today, especially now that I have a child!

It is so much fun to have an excuse to do crafts for others and tell them you love them.

We decided to use some of my leftover Valentine’s Day Ribbon to make some V-Day cards.

I am by no means a card maker, this is SO basic, but I still wanted to share. :)

I used my Ruffler foot on my sewing machine to make a cute ruffle. You can do the same thing by sewing on the largest stitch and then pulling one of the the threads to gather. In fact, I ran into problems with my foot so the last three were done this way.

I used the Heart Camo Valentine’s Day Ribbon in 7/8″.

I hot glued the ribbon to the cards. When you cut the ribbon, some of the ruffle falls out so I folded it over, glued it together, and then glued the end down.

I hot glued the middle in about two or three places. It all depended on keeping the ruffle in the shape I wanted.

It was so quick and really made construction paper cards look so pretty!

I love how ribbon makes everything better. :)

I hope you all have a great and fun Valentine’s Day!
