I just love Thursdays because it is new video tutorial day and I LOVE these videos! They are awesome for learning how to create beautiful bows, terrific tutus, rad ribbon sculptures and other fun and creative crafts!
Rad??? Who says rad anymore?
Today’s awesome video tutorial is all about creating a pretty Fabric Pleated Flower. The fun thing about this flower, is that it hardly takes any fabric and there are TONS and TONS of different fabric prints out there so you could make 100 different flowers with your 100 different pieces of fabric, and they would all look totally different. Love right?!? However, I have to say the best part about this flower is that they are EASY! Seriously, so easy!
Let’s join Shirley as she teaches us how to create this unique fabric flower full of pleats, a gem and lots of cuteness!
2 Felt Circles
Needle and Thread
Hi-Temp Glue Gun
What a fun and super easy flower. This little flower is way fun to display on a headband singly or stacked on top of each other for a fuller look. You can also attach it to a clip, a brooch pin, or even a key chain to display on a bag, blouse, scarf, or your favorite jacket.
This flower attached to a sweet little headband, clip or brooch pin makes a great gift for that upcoming baby shower or for your next door neighbor who loves to adorn her winter coats or summery jackets with cute accessories like this adorable flower. It would also be so much fun to make a party out of creating fun flowers like this and inviting all the neighborhood girls or a bunch of your favorite ladies to craft the night away!
