How To Make A Stacked Bow

It’s coming, it’s coming…Halloween is cooooooming!

Halloween Stacked Bows - The Ribbon Retreat Blog
I am in LOVE with this time of year…as you all know! Hehe! And, I am in love with making crafts, holiday decor and bows! The other night my boys went to a football game and my little baby girl went to bed so I stayed up and while eating a BIG bowl of ice cream and catching up some of my favorite flicks, I made bows! It was the best night ever!

Today we are going to make a couple of super easy and super festive Halloween bows! These bows are so fun and with the help of some incredible YouTube videos…I was able to whip these out in no time! The Ribbon Retreat has a whole line up of fabulous videos that I love to use when I am making bows. I am still a newbie at making them so I need all the help I can get! I actually combined three bows to create one ginormously adorable bow!

The two YouTube video tutorials I used to create these Halloween inspired bows were the Basic Boutique Bow and the Pinwheel Bow. And, I shoved a couple Spikes in the middle! Make sure to check out these video tutorials by clicking on the bold bow names to be taken directly to those videos. I have included some pictures of my bow making steps as well. Enjoy!!!

But first…don’t forget your supplies!

Now finish off your bow with hot gluing a piece of 3/8″ ribbon around the center of the bow, add a lined clip to the back and hot glue a resin to the center.

Hi Dee! Thank you so much! I had the hardest time making bows when I first started….like really hard. They were never symmetrical and always looked like my baby had made it. Hehehehe! Just keep trying, because you will get better….PROMISE. Believe me, if I can make bows ANYONE can. However, I bet your flowers are amazing!!! Thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Michelle 🙂
