It’s coming, it’s coming…Halloween is cooooooming!

I am in LOVE with this time of year…as you all know! Hehe! And, I am in love with making crafts, holiday decor and bows! The other night my boys went to a football game and my little baby girl went to bed so I stayed up and while eating a BIG bowl of ice cream and catching up some of my favorite flicks, I made bows! It was the best night ever!

Today we are going to make a couple of super easy and super festive Halloween bows! These bows are so fun and with the help of some incredible YouTube videos…I was able to whip these out in no time! The Ribbon Retreat has a whole line up of fabulous videos that I love to use when I am making bows. I am still a newbie at making them so I need all the help I can get! I actually combined three bows to create one ginormously adorable bow!
The two YouTube video tutorials I used to create these Halloween inspired bows were the Basic Boutique Bow and the Pinwheel Bow. And, I shoved a couple Spikes in the middle! Make sure to check out these video tutorials by clicking on the bold bow names to be taken directly to those videos. I have included some pictures of my bow making steps as well. Enjoy!!!
But first…don’t forget your supplies!

All you need to create these adorable bows is:
-Your favorite Holiday Ribbon
*I used two ribbon mixes: Bewitched and Ghosts and Goblins
-Two Resins
–Hair Bow Maker
-Needle and Thread
-Glue Gun
-Lighter
Let’s learn how to make a stacked bow, Halloween style!

The first bow you will make is the Pinwheel Bow. Click HERE to view that video tutorial.

Next make a small version of the Spike Bow. Click HERE to view that tutorial.

Finally, make the Basic Boutique Bow. Click HERE to view that video tutorial.

Now finish off your bow with hot gluing a piece of 3/8″ ribbon around the center of the bow, add a lined clip to the back and hot glue a resin to the center.

Look how cute it is!

Wahoo! Done with one, now using the same techniques, make your second, third or fourth bow!

How did you do? Did you follow the same steps as I did, or did you create a look of your own?

I love holiday themed bows. They are fun to make, and they make an adorable and festive accessory! I love fast and easy projects that look amazing and professional in the end…and these bows are just that! Make some for your little neighbor girls, friends and family members too and be the talk of the town…in a good way of course. All the ladies will be talking about your amazing bow making skills and how they can get their hands on some of that Halloween goodness!
Check out these other festive bows that make great accessories to complete your little ladies Halloween attire…

What is your favorite Halloween accessory? Tell me all about it in the comments and why it is your favorite! I can’t wait to hear!
Happy Creating & Happy Halloween Bows!
