Learn to Sew with Crazy Little Projects

The Ribbon Retreat is sponsoring a wonderful event over at Crazy Little Projects! We love Amber and she is fantastic at sewing. Over on her blog, she is teaching YOU how to sew! Yes, instead of wishing you knew how to make the fun projects we post here at TRR, you will learn how to do them in 7 lessons.

Here is how Amber explains the process on her blog:

“Beginning January 7th I will post a weekly tutorial that will teach you one basic sewing skill. Each Monday you will learn a new skill. By the end of 7 weeks you will have all the necessary skills to sew most projects.

Each weekly tutorial will also coordinate with a project that you can do that week with your new found skill (and will build on past skills from the previous weeks). Yes, even in week 1 you will be able to sew and complete a project.

Also each week there will be a giveaway open to all participants. What will you win? We’ve already got fabric, patterns and gift cards lined up.

At the end of 7 weeks, each participant will have 2 weeks to complete a project of their choice (I will give some suggestions, but you can choose what you sew). Submit your project and you will be entered to win one of the GRAND PRIZES.”
