Minnie Mouse Ears Puff Bows

What little girl wouldn’t absolutely LOVE an adorable set of their very own Minnie Mouse inspired Puff Bows? I know I sure would! Shirley is back with us today sharing a written tutorial for the adorable Mouse Ear Puff Bows she shared last week for our fabulous YouTube Thursday video tutorial. These mouse ears are nothing but absolutely fun and fabulous and all of those little Minnie Mouse lovin’ girlees are going to LOVE them! Enjoy!

I don’t know any girl who loves Minnie Mouse who wouldn’t LOVE these bows! They are so easy to make and absolutely adorable on!

Supplies:

3″ Black Tulle
Bows made from 1 1/2″ Light Pink with White Polka Dot Ribbon
Lined Clips
Scissors
Hot Glue Gun

Take your tulle and scrunch it up and place it in your palm. Wrap the tulle around your hand about 15 times. Cut off the excess tulle.

If you want to make a bigger puff, wrap the tulle around something larger. The width of whatever you’re wrapping is the size of the puff.

Slide the tulle off of your hand.

Cut a small piece of tulle, about 6″.

Place the wrapped tulle on top of the piece of tulle we just cut. That piece needs to be in the center and then just tie a super tight knot.

Take the ends of the tulle we used to tie around the main tulle and bring it up on either side and cut it flush with the edge.

Now grab your scissors and cut the loops on both ends.

You’ll get this funky looking tulle thingy.

Spread apart the tulle. Pull it gently away from the outside toward the center. Be patient and be sure to get every piece of tulle. If you see any ends sticking out or that have rough edges, you can make them even.

Find a good spot for your clip and line it with hot glue and place it on the tulle puff. Hold it for awhile to make sure it’s secure.

Now hold the tulle puff open where the bow is going to go. I look all around the puff and put the bow on the side that isn’t as round. Put hot glue on your bow and then place it on the puff. Again, be sure to hold it until secure.

And now we are all done! Follow the steps to make one more to have a set of the cutest Minnie Mouse bows ever!
