My Sister-In-Law is pregnant with twins!
Her baby shower was this last weekend, and I made her these Personalized Name Pillows to match the babies’ cribs.
I also made matching tag blankets; the tutorial on that is coming up!
Personalized name pillows make great gifts for kids of all ages.
Kids love having something with their name on it!
I used the Personalized Name Pillow pattern from www.youcanmakethis.com.
The pattern includes all the instructions and all the letters of the alphabet in both upper and lower case.
The pillows turned out so cute! I hope Brooklyn and Kaden will grow up knowing their Auntie Shirley loves them! 🙂
Brooklyn’s pillow has fabric from Dilly Dally by Me and My Sister for Moda.
I used a Layer Cake to get all the different fabrics for the letters.
I used Baby Pink in Essential Dots for the background fabric.
Kaden’s pillow has a mix of fabrics from different lines.
The fabrics we have in stock are listed below.
Green Mushrooms in Child’s Play-Boy by Northcott
Stripe-Orange in Wee Woodland by Keiki for Moda
Grass Balls in Freebird Twill for Moda
Blue-Love Bird Dots in Love Birds for Riley Blake
These pillows are fairly easy and would be great for beginners.
They are so fun and so cute!

Those are adorable! You did a great job, as usual 🙂
I’m excited for the tutorial on the tag blanket thingies. I want to make one. These are cute!
So very cute! You did a great job!
I have heard rumors about people making the “taggie” blankets that the company is coming after them for trademark rights. You may want to change the name a little….. I really am unsure what they are doing, but I have heard they are on the watch. I love them tho 🙂
I didn’t even know there was such a company! Thanks Michelle! I’ll look into it. 🙂
I love them!! I will have to make these for my 3 year old b/g twins!! I hope your sister in law has found a twins club in her area. I love my club!!
These are adorable!
Good post, thanks. Can you tell us about the third paragraph more?
