Project Idea Submission


Thank you for your interest in being a Contributor to The Ribbon Retreat Blog!

Please submit your project idea below and please complete the other required fields for this form. Once we receive your submission, give us about a week (probably less!) to get back to you.

If your idea is approved, we will send you any supplies to complete your project that are available at The Ribbon Retreat. You will have until the deadline, you’ve given us, to send the html code or document of your tutorial to us. You will be able to post this tutorial on your own blog one week after it has been published on The Ribbon Retreat with a link to the original post and to The Ribbon Retreat. Please leave any questions in the comment section of the form.

We love all things crafty and creative, but the projects we are looking for for our blog are sewing tutorials, bow how-to’s, ribbon sculpture tutorials, anything with our new products, home crafts, kid crafts, and so much more! We are excited for your submissions and look forward to working with you!

Terms of Agreement

PLEASE READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING PROJECT IDEA. After reviewing the following terms and conditions thoroughly, if you do not agree to the terms and conditions, please do not submit your project idea.

Acceptance of Agreement. You agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Terms and Conditions of use Agreement (Agreement) with respect to The Ribbon Retreat. This Agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between The Ribbon Retreat and you, and supersedes all prior or contemporaneous agreements, representations, warranties and understandings with respect to The Ribbon Retreat, the content, free product samples or freebie offers or services provided by or listed on The Ribbon Retreat, and the subject matter of this Agreement. This Agreement may be amended by The Ribbon Retreat at any time and at any frequency without specific notice to you.

Submissions. All suggestions, ideas, notes, concepts and other information you may send to The Ribbon Retreat (collectively, “Submissions”) shall be deemed and shall remain our sole property and shall not be subject to any obligation of confidence on our part. Without limiting the foregoing, The Ribbon Retreat shall be deemed to own all known and hereafter existing rights of every kind and nature regarding the Submissions and shall be entitled to unrestricted use of the Submissions for any purpose, without compensation to the provider of the Submissions. The Ribbon Retreat has all rights to accept or reject any Submissions and/or make any modifications they deem necessary to the Submissions. Credit will be given to you (provider of Submissions) after acceptance and retrieval of tutorial for the provided Submissions.

Upon approval of Submissions, you (the provider of the Submissions) will be sent the necessary materials from The Ribbon Retreat for the sole purpose of creating the approved Submissions. The materials sent must not be distributed to others and cannot be sold for a profit. You will be held responsible for providing a written tutorial in either HTML or text format with pictures detailing steps required to complete the Submissions. If The Ribbon Retreat receives no tutorial from you within 30 days after you have received the materials from The Ribbon Retreat then you will be sent a bill for the total amount of the products that were sent to you to be paid back in full in one payment to The Ribbon Retreat, also any future Submissions sent by you will not be accepted and any credit to you given on any previous Submissions will be removed.

    I am having trouble submitting an idea. I have redone it two times already. Every time it says “•An error occured while uploading: fileupload”

    Is there any other way to submit my idea?

    I tried to submit a tutorial idea, and it said that it was incorrect also. I am not sure if you got it? I would love to share a tutorial, maybe I could email the idea to you with a picture instead? Let me know. Thanks,

    Hi Natalie! Yes! It did work. I see that we have received your submission and will review it shortly. Thank you to both of you! I will be adding that when you submit a tutorial, you will receive a receipt of it. That should help right? Thank you!

    Hi there! I was invited to share a tutorial with the Ribbon Retreat, however, every time I enter all of the fields, it says my email is incorrect. I signed up through your website under sunnyvanilla.blogspot.com and confirmed the “confirmation email” that was sent to me from the ribbon retreat.

    I’d love to work with you, but I’m not sure why it keeps stating my information is incorrect.
