Easter is coming! I love setting the table for Easter breakfast, and these simple Ribbon Bunny Napkin Rings are fun to make, and oh so cute! You only need a couple minutes and a few supplies. I’m so excited to share these fun and fast napkin rings here at The Ribbon Retreat!
To make the ribbon bunny napkin rings, you need:
1/2″ White Grosgrain Ribbon
1/4″ Pink Grosgrain Ribbon
Black Thread
Cardboard tube (like from a paper towel)
Hot Glue
Scissors
Small black pom pom
Start by cutting your cardboard tube. You’ll need a 1″ piece for each napkin ring.
Use a dab of hot glue to secure the end of the ribbon, then wrap the ribbon around the tube.
Use dabs of glue to keep the ribbon in place. When you get to the end, cut off the excess ribbon, and add another dab of glue to hold the end in place.
Cut ribbon pieces for the ears. You’ll need two white and two pink, each 5″ long.
Stack a pink ribbon on top of a white ribbon then loop to make an ear.
At the bottom, where the ribbon ends all meet, add a dab of glue between each layer of ribbon, then glue the ear in place.
Repeat with the second ear.
If you want, you can stop here, but I wanted to add whiskers and a nose to my napkin ring. To do this, wrap the black thread loosely around two fingers 4 or 5 times.
Cut the thread on each side, then place them on the napkin ring so they criss-cross at the nose.
Put a dab of glue where the whiskers criss-cross, then push the pom pom nose in place. You’re all done! Make enough napkin rings for all your family and guests this Easter! If you’re visiting for Easter, these napkin rings also make a great hostess gift!
