It’s flip flop season…or as my little 2 year old calls them “flop flops” and sometimes a plain pair of flip flops just isn’t going to work for you or your little sweethearts. So say goodbye to plain ol’ flip flops and say hello to flip flops that are fabulous and full of your favorite summery ribbon! Today, for our awesome and brand new video tutorial Shirley is going to show us how much fun and just how easy it is to adorn your plain flip flops with lots of ribbon to achieve a one of a kind and very adorable look for your summer footwear!

Supplies

Ribbon variety – 3/8″-7/8″
Flip Flops
Pinking Shears
-or lighter to seal the ribbon ends

I am in love with this fun, crafty project. It is so simple and would be so much fun to do with a group of your friends of a group of your little gal’s best pals. These ribbons also make a perfect scrap buster project if you have a whole slew of short ribbons laying around with nothing to use them on. Can’t you just see your little girl and her friends sporting these adorable flip flops with all of that ribbon adorning their cute little feet? Awwww!

Thank you Shirley for sharing such a fun project and such a great video tutorial with us today! Video tutorials are some of my favorite ways to learn how to make anything crafty! I absolutely love being able to rewind or fast forward and to even pause while I grab another piece of ribbon…or possible a quick snack…who doesn’t craft without yummy snacks?!? LOL!

    Wow, Shirley, your ribbon flip flops are adorable!! You’ve transformed plain flip flops from basic foot protection to a fun and cheerful fashion statement!

    I love your use of pinking shears instead of a lighter to seal the ribbon ends. I think that the pinked edges enhance the whimsical look of the ribbon flip flops. Thank you for sharing your extra-cute project! xoxo
