It’s good to start them young. 🙂
We made a bunch of flowers using fabric and ribbons,
but this one was so cute that I had to share.
We used a tutorial from Get Your Craft On and ours turned out a little different! We used a smaller ribbon size, as well as a sheer, so it made it curl up a lot more. I really like it, and my nieces love it too.
We used Sheer Ribbon in Aqua in 5/8″. The headband was just some extra I had from the dollar store. Definitely not the best quality, but it will do for some fun.
So if you have some scraps laying around, go ahead and try it out.
It will look great on girls or women. 🙂

I love it! I’m definately going to have to make one of these for each of my girls! Maybe one to match a new outfit for D, who starts school this week!
You have to send me pics! I am pretty sure yours will turn out amazing!
Wait, how do you make it?! This is beautiful!
Hi Erin! There is a link to the tutorial I used to make it, or I guess I should say my niece used. 🙂 This flower is a little different than the one in the tutorial. She gathered it a bit more, but used the same technique in hot gluing it together. I think using the Sheer Ribbon is also what made the difference. Here is the link here if you don’t want to click back. http://getyourcrafton.blogspot.com/2010/03/ribbon-flower-headband-tutorial.html
