I found this fun idea for organizing ribbon on a blog called Young and Crafty.
I LOVE this idea for so many reasons.
First of all, I like it because it’s a great way to roll up
and store ribbons that come in Grab Bags.
It is also more easily accessible than dumping out my rolled up ribbons
from a jar to get the one on the bottom. 🙂
I also like it because of it’s portability.
I like to have making hair bow parties and this would make bringing the ribbons much easier!
Hannah, over at Young and Crafty, shows you how to make your own,
from where to buy the supplies to the finished product.
And if you want more ideas on storing ribbon, The Ribbon Retreat has tons of pictures of ribbon and craft organization from our fans on Facebook.

I do something similar, but I don’t have a closet to hang things like this in, so, instead I use the sturdy cardboard rolls that are in the center of plastic wrap, waxed paper, and the like, and use tape instead of pins, then I can store them horizontally in a gift box or drawer. (Just a small twist on the idea.)
That is a great idea Laura! Thank you for sharing!
What a great idea! Mine are wrapped around those old school clothespins and stored in glass jars.
Brittany, I love that idea! Someday I will get around to doing that too. 🙂
My dear friend, Bobbie, directed me to your site and this is just what I needed to see. My ribbon is all in boxes driving me crazy. I’m so making this. THANKS!
I love the clothes pin idea also and will use that for the 1/8th” ribbon. For the larger I found empty spools to use and found a shelf to stack them on..I may not do this very fast, but hoping to get some done by this weekend! Thanks for idea!
