Ribbon Topiary, YouTube Thursday - The Ribbon Retreat Blog
Like I have said many times before…I LOVE projects that showcase The Ribbon Retreat’s amazing ribbon in many different ways…like hair bows, hair accessories AND other fabulous ribbon projects that don’t go in your hair but on your entryway table or hanging on your wall instead! Regardless of the project…I just love to see The Ribbon Retreat’s incredible ribbon showcased in lots and lots of different ways, just like this adorable summery Ribbon Topiary! I can’t wait to make a couple of these to display on my entryway table. I am going to make a couple to display during the entire summer and even one or two in patriotic red, white and blue for the 4th of July! What about you? What holiday or special occasion would you make some of these great ribbon topiaries for?

Good grief, Shirley… what a bright and whimsical project! Thank you for providing so much detail in your tutorial; it was so helpful to see that you worked with one ribbon design at a time and from the widest to the narrowest widths. And using pins instead of glue to create the ribbon “loops” will save many burned finger tips–not to mention time!

Because of my speakerless status, I don’t know if you mentioned the length of the dowel or the width of the pot. Help!

Thanks for sharing such a fun project… one or two of your ribbon topiaries would be a perfect addition to any holiday or special-occasion decor, given the huge variety of ribbon available from TRR!
