Dark Blue Ribbon (I used the stars in 7/8″)
Hem Tape (Stitch Witchery)
Scissors
Lighter

Patriotic Ribbon and Trim
I love Ric Rac…and this shirt is covered in it and just too cute for words! Enjoy!

Oh, how I loooove this shirt–using ric rac instead of ribbon adds such an adorable touch, as does the whimsical blue with stars bow!! ::squeals::

Still no speakers (grrrr), so would you mind telling me how long are the two lengths of red ric rac?

Like you, Michelle, I looooove the 4th of July!… the red, white, and blue colors that we see everywhere; the small-town parades; the patriotic music–especially when performed by the Boston Pops; !!!fireworks!!!; and especially the sense of pride in our country that seems to be heightened between Memorial Day and the 4th. Everyone responds so pleasantly when you wish them a Happy 4th or smile at their red, white, and blue clothing (and accessories – hehehe!)! xoxo

Hi Pat! I am so glad you love this awesome and super festive shirt! The length of ric rac used is not specified. She just says to eye the length that you like to get your desired size of flag. I hope this helps! Thank you for your question and your fun comment Pat! Have a great day! Michelle 🙂
