Rudolph is coming to town, and I can’t even wait! He is such a fun part of Christmas night with his nose so bright guiding Santa safely through that foggy and snowy Christmas Eve night! But, we don’t have to wait until Christmas Eve to celebrate this awesome reindeer! Today, Cherie is sharing a very, VERY fun and adorable hair bow inspired by Rudolph himself and that ever famous nose that is red and bright and such a delight! Enjoy
I love all Santa’s reindeer, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for Rudolph! Today I’ll give you some ideas on how to turn a regular bow, Tails Down or whatever bow you choose, into a cute reindeer bow.
Supplies
- Red Bottle Cap
- Red Gem
- Ribbon to make your bow
- Brown 3/4″ Ric Rac
- Single Prong Clip
First cut your ribbon and seal the ends. I made this bow with 1 1/2″ ribbon, I made it pretty big, the finished size is over 4″ wide. For a bow this size cut the ribbon to about 30″.
After you cut the ribbon, loop it as shown above.
Then bring the top of the ribbon down and clip it into place.
I eye balled the Ric Rac. Cut it about the same size as the bow loop, make sure to seal the ends. Don’t glue it all the way down. Leave the ends unglued so they will stick out.
Cut another piece of Ric Rac and glue it on top of the other one forming another point. Now you have cute little antlers!
Pinch the bow and secure with a needle and thread.
Add a Red Bottle Cap to the center for the nose, attach it to a clip and you’re ready to go!
I made another quick bow. You can learn how to make many different kinds of bows with our TOTT Instructions.
I added 2 pieces of Ric Rac to the back of the bow.
The finishing touch is the Red Gem for the nose!
Cute, easy and festive!
Super cute right?!? Thank you Cherie for sharing this super fun bow! I know Rudolph himself is smiling at these bows inspired by his awesome bright red nose!
