Snack Bag Tutorial

Snack Bag Tutorial - The Ribbon Retreat Blog

Hi all! This is Havalah, and I blog over at Sisters, Sisters. I am so excited to be here today!
Since my little one started eating snacks, it seemed like we started going through lots of ziploc snack bags and those can get expensive. A while back, I saw on etsy reusable snack bags that people were selling. I figured they can’t be that hard to make. I figured out a method and found them to be SO easy and quick. Today I’m going to share with you my tutorial.

7″ x 14″ Cotton Fabric
7″ x 14″ Laminated Cotton
6″ Velcro

1. Place right sides of cotton fabric and laminated cotton together. Sew around the entire thing but leave a 4 inch opening at one end.
2. Turn right sides out and iron. Then top stitch both short sides.

 3. Pin your velcro to the laminated side. Make sure they match up.
Sew on velcro (I used a zig zag stitch to make it more secure).

4. Now fold your fabric so right sides are touching. Sew up sides doing a 1/8″ or 1/4″ seam allowance.
Turn right side out and your done!
