Sunday Sneak Peak

Sunday Sneak Peak…. on Monday. :)

Holidays are so busy so I’m sorry I’m a day late!

I am not doing this quilt as quickly as I would like. Who knew piecing quilts was so time consuming? :) It’s a good thing it will be so cute!

I finally got all my pieces cut out!

I laid it all out! (That part was easy. :))

I’ve now sewed all of the rows as well. I just have to iron the back and then sew my rows together. Piece of cake right?

I hope I can get this done in the next two days and then spend the other two days basting and quilting and binding. Maybe I should’ve done a smaller quilt for my first quilt. Oh well. It’s so cute, I couldn’t resist!

Anyone else feel the time closing in on them? I wish you all the best in getting it done! Happy Crafting! :)

I think your quilt is so cute. I just noticed on the bottom sea green row that two of the quilt blocks are turned the wrong way. I thought I would tell you so before you quilt it all and bind it you could fix it.

Thanks Chiara! I finished sewing it together last night and caught it before I sewed that row together. Thank goodness there was only the one mistake! You have good eyes! :)

It is looking so great! I love the denim with the colors. This is definitely a keeper and it’s your first one! I never answered you back when you asked about my quilting…I quilted a quarter inch away from each seam (so above and below each seam) to keep the zig zag look on the front and that’s what gave it the great zig zag on the back. Keep it up, girl. You are rocking the zig zag!
