In addition to the bow I made to go on the tutu, I also made a bow for the headband to match.
I made this bow so fast, I forgot to take pictures of each layer. Sorry!
But I will tell you the techniques I used and what ribbons were used too.
For the bottom layer, I did a 4 1/2″ Boutique Technique using Baby Pink Solid Grosgrain Ribbon in 1 1/2″. I layered it the Solid Grosgrain with Rose Pink Double Faced Satin Ribbon in 7/8″.
For the top layer, I used Baby Pink/Pink Pink Passion Dots Ribbon in 7/8″ to make a Boutique Technique bow.
I centered the bow with a knot using the Rose Pink Double Faced Satin Ribbon in 7/8″.
I love the softness the Double Faced Satin brings to the bow. Definitely sweet for a cute newborn baby girl’s head. 🙂
The Ribbon Retreat carries an assortment of headbands that are already made and ready to wear. I got some Nylon Headbands in Pink for this cute baby girl.
This bow could also be exchanged with the bow on the tutu for a little bit of a different look as well.
And if you caught it on the first picture, I also made it so the baby could use a flower in a headband, or on the tutu.
I will be showing a tutorial on how to make a flower into a clip this week.
