Hello, hello and welcome to day 2 of our Blogger Competition! I am so excited about this fun, new event taking place here at TRR! It is going to be so much fun to see who you all choose as our first Blogger Competition WINNER! Today, Kim from A Girl and a Glue Gun is sharing an ADORABLE Valentine Ribbon Art home decoration. This ribbon art is so cute, I just can’t stand it! This project is easy to create and looks like a million bucks when it is complete! Enjoy!
Hi! I’m kimbo I blog over at a girl and a glue gun! I LOVE Valentine’s Day. Probably cause pink is my favorite color!!!!
And the other day I got the best package in the mail!!! Red and white and pink and fluffy and sparkly. There were (and still are) about 100 things I wanted to turn it all into…
But eventually ended up just using this fun ribbon pack:
I loved how they all coordinated!
I ended up making a bunch of hearts on my silhouette cameo studio (you can just use a heart punch or some scissors.)
The frame I have is 12×12…so I had a leftover piece of peel and stick vinyl that I used for my backdrop. Laid over my cutout and marked where each heart was…
and started hot gluing them in place.
So I get this far. And then I totally wished I would have done a gorgeous patchwork ribbon pillow or something! so cute! Love how this looks!
But I persevere on and lay over the heart paper again and make sure it all lines up!
spray painted my frame red….
and just taped it in!!!
I also made a love sign..similar to the same way…just big long strips instead! (hot glued these!)
Then added some vinyl LOVE letters to the glass! (I get my vinyl from daily craft vinyl HERE).
You can also add ribbon on a mason jar and fill with flowers for a fun part of your valentines decor.
So I’m super competitive…and even though I love love love the other ladies that are doing a project for this fun competition–I want them to go DOWN! Ha! So vote for my fun heart art! I will LOVE you forever and ever!
Thank you so so much Kim for this fun project! It is so cute and so festive! Good luck to you!

Hi Ana Love Craft! Thank you so very much! I am so glad you love these fun hearts. They are so cute and festive! Have a wonderful day and thank you again! Michelle 🙂
What terrific ideas, Kim! I like them all, but I think my favorite it the LOVE sign (although those itty-bitty hearts are so darned cute… hehe!). I don’t have a die cutting machine, but maybe I could find some cardboard letters at a craft store…: ) Thank you for sharing all of your fun projects! xoxo
Hi Pat! Isn’t Kim awesome…and both of those fun ribbon projects too! I also love her LOVE sign and how perfect both of these projects are for Valentine’s Day! Thank you so much Pat and have a wonderful day! Michelle 🙂

How cute! I always buy ribbon and then don’t know what to do with it. My daughter thinks she’s too old for cute bows. Love how simple this is.
Hi Keri! Thank you so much! I love ribbon too and LOVE all of the fun ways you can use ribbon…in so many other ways than just in cute bows. This great project is one way you can use up all of that fun ribbon you have! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you can find a whole bunch of other fun ribbon projects to use your ribbon collection on, right her on our blog! Have a wonderful day! Michelle 🙂
This is so cute and totally something I can actually make for Valentine’s Day this year! What a fun way to coordinate and using what you have without it being totally obvious.

Okay… I feel really silly. I was looking at the wrong party when I left my last comment… You were featured at this week’s party. I was so confused as to why your post looked SOOO familiar when I was commenting. And then I couldn’t figure out how I had already visited you when it was new this week. Anyway. Feel free to delete these comments – or just laugh at me! Haha… I think I should get to bed soon. Have a great Friday anyway!!
Hahahaha Danielle! I love it! No worries and thank you so much for putting a smile on my face. Have a great night! Michelle 🙂
