Hi friends!

It’s Brittany from Crafty Mischief again.

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is tomorrow?

You can whip up this Yo-Yo Pumpkin Hair Clip in minutes and your little one will look so sweet and festive at your Thanksgiving table.

-Supplies-

3″ square of fabric (I used Orange Essential Dots)

4″ length of 3/8″ Orange Solid Grosgrain Ribbon

6″ length of 3/8″ Apple Green Solid Grosgrain Ribbon

Double Prong Clip

Quick Yo-Yo Maker (optional)

Needle & Thread

Scissors

Glue gun

Glue sticks

Start by making some Korkers with your Apple Green Grosgrain Ribbon.

The Ribbon Retreat offers free Korker Bow instructions.
Click on the link to learn how to make them.

While your Korkers are in the oven you can make your fabric yo-yo.

If you are using the Quick Yo-Yo Maker simply follow the Clover Quick instructions.

If you don’t have a Yo-Yo Maker, no worries! Click here for a Fabric Yo-Yo Tutorial.

The size of your yo-yo will depend on the size of your circle. My circle template was 3″ around, so my yo-yo measures about 1.8″ in diameter.

Cut a 4″ length of 3/8″ Orange Grosgrain. Seal the ends of the ribbon with your preferred method and line your clip.

Cut your Korker ribbon into two 3″ ribbon curls.

I made three different clips to show you the three different looks that you can get depending on where on the clip you glue your ribbon and yo-yo.

Glue the Korkers onto the clip in a “v” so they are pointing in different directions.

Glue the yo-yo on top of the Korkers.

That’s it!
Didn’t I tell you it was easy?

You can see in the pictures below that the placement of the Korkers and the yo-yo make a difference in the look of the hair clip.
