About a month ago, I ran into a slight dilemma…hehehe! Ok, so it really wasn’t a dilemma but rather a mom moment where I really wanted my sweet (sassy, but sweet) little girl to wear a particular skirt to church. However, my “dilemma” came when I realized she didn’t have a shirt or hair accessory to wear with the skirt. Uggg!
She had a plain white shirt, but it wasn’t as cutesy as I was wanting. So, I of course turned to my basket of flowers, puffs, buttons, and who knows what else…and my crafty mom light turned on, and I made her the cutest little accessory to pin onto her shirt AND a fun little headband to match. “Dilemma” solved. Have you ever been here…where you needed (aka, wanted) a quick accessory to jazz up an outfit lickety split? This gorgeous little Rosy Chiffon Flower Headband is the hair accessory I made her, that added a little bit of pizazz to her outfit I was hoping for. And the best part, it was fast…like 3 steps fast!
I used 3 supplies to make this fun headband…
Rosy Chiffon Flower
Headband
Felt Circles
This headband is truly the easiest accessory ever because the flower is already made, not to mention beautiful and comes in multiple stunning colors. These flowers are lovely and are some of my absolute favorites!
Don’t be afraid to play around with these flowers, by mixing and matching colors or evening adding a little embellishment to them…you can personalize these headbands to fit your tastes and will look gorgeous however you make them. I stayed pretty simple with mine, but did end up mixing an additional flower in at the end…
This is so easy…let’s get started!
Place hot glue on the back of the flowers…careful, it gets so hot…now, sandwich your headband in between your flower and felt circles. Press firmly!
Ta-DAA! So easy, stunning and worth the 3 steps!
You can place your flowers anywhere on the headband. I prefer to put mine off to one side, towards the bottom of the headband…but feel free to place it wherever you feel will look best! Add another flower, pretty gem, pearl, or sassy resin to dress up your headband even more!
I added one more pretty flower to give my headband a little more pizazz! I used a Sweet Pea in Light Coral. Soooo pretty! Attach this little flower just like the ones above.
These headbands are so fun and ooooohhhhh so pretty! And the best part, they took 5 minutes to make! Wahoo!
My cute little model is one of my little boy’s best friends. She is ADORABLE and was rocking this pretty little headband!
Accessories are fun…really fun! I love to add accessories to my little sweetie’s outfits and to mine as well. They add personality and pizazz, and we have a ton of other quick and easy accessory that I think you might really like…
What is your best “dilemma” story and what did you make to solve it?
