This beautiful Tied Ribbon Wreath is perfect for any season and is so easy to make! Using beautiful ribbon and a simple wreath form, you have a gorgeous wreath for anywhere in your home.
Hey Everyone! My name is Amanda and I blog over at Every Creative Endeavorys – a fun little blog where I share DIY projects and crafts. I am excited to be here today sharing a fun wreath I made for the fall!
~ Tied Ribbon Wreath Tutorial ~
You will need:
A 14” wreath form
Scissors
Fray Check or a lighter
25 yards of 1 1/2 Satin Grosgrain ribbon
( I used the colors wine, olive, yellow gold, nu rust and crème)
I cut each piece of ribbon to be 15 inches long.
Then I fray-checked each end of each piece to keep them from fraying. You can also use a lighter to seal the ends of the ribbon. Here is a video tutorial on how to seal your ends.
The big key to the wreath is how you knot the ties – you want to double knot the ribbon the same way each time. I did right over left and left over right – right over left and left over right. It doesn’t matter which way you do it, as long as you tie each one the same way.
After you tie each ribbon, push them close together and keep going until you are done!
Here are a couple other projects I have been working on:
Lacey Rosette Headband * Pleated Cuffs * Stenciled Dining Room Walls
Thanks for having me today, and I hope you have a wonderful week!
Thanks so much Amanda!
Wreaths are one of my favorite crafts to do. Who cares if I already have 10 Halloween and Christmas wreaths? I need a new one every year just to create something fun and beautiful. I love this wreath for it’s simplicity and can’t wait to make one!
I love Amanda’s blog! Make sure to check out all the fun stuff she has. I am loving the Lacey Rosette and Pleated Cuffs!!
